Through the symbolic world we can have access to the depths of soul – to the energy, to the light, the meaning, the beauty, the power, to the divinity that exists there. Traditionally the symbolic world is where we connect to the deeper layer that is within us, which is our divine consciousness. Our divine consciousness is real, it exists in an interior world. Part of mystical life is to reclaim that divine consciousness.
